Our Mission

Hi, my name is Kim and I am the owner of Makayla River Soaps & Such. I am a stay at home wife and mom to two beautiful children. Makayla River Soaps & Such started when I began my quest for my family to live a more clean and simple life. Like so many others- I started looking into all of the additives that are used during the manufacturing process these days not only for our food but also our hygiene care items and I was not a fan.

Our goal at Makayla River Soaps & Such is to deliver handmade soaps that are moisturizing, gentle on your skin, smell amazing, and include ingredients that you can actually pronounce! Oh and let's not forget- everyone loves a good lathering soap bar!

Makayla River Soaps & Such wants to minimize our carbon footprint as often as we can. We try to purchase 100% recycled packaging material as much as possible. Even if it costs our business more out of pocket- it is worth it to do our part for our beautiful planet. We encourage you as well to Go Green too. :)
